The Ivorenne is a large crystal chandelier for rooms with height to spare. Its frame is cast in solid copper and offered in three finishes: copper, brushed nickel or black. Hundreds of hand-cut crystal units are set across that frame in a layered pattern, so light from the lamp holders is broken up and thrown across the ceiling rather than pushed straight down. The effect is bright without being harsh, and it shifts as you move through the room.
Seven specifications run from twenty-four heads up to forty-eight. The long versions of the thirty-two, forty and forty-eight head models stretch the crystal matrix out for rooms with more length than width, while the round versions suit a square footprint. The copper structure carries the weight of the crystal without flexing, which matters at the larger sizes. Lamp holders take standard G4 bulbs, sold separately, so the colour temperature is your call. Colour rendering index is 80.
Villa living rooms, hotel lobbies and banquet halls are the obvious homes for it. Ceiling height matters more than floor area, so measure your drop before choosing a size. The fixture hangs from the ceiling, runs on a hardwired 110V supply and is operated by a wall switch. Indoor use only. Switch off the power at the wall and wipe the crystal with a dry cloth to clean it, and have a licensed electrician carry out the hardwired installation.
