The Sorrenza brass saucer pendant light does two jobs at once, which is what separates it from a plain dome. The wide disc shade pushes a clean column of light straight down onto a benchtop or table, while the opal glass dome underneath glows outward and fills the surrounding room with a softer ambient light. You get task lighting and atmosphere from one fixture.
The body is iron finished in warm brass, chosen for weight and for the way the finish holds up in a working kitchen. The silhouette is deliberately minimal, a flat disc and a rounded diffuser and nothing else, so it reads as architectural rather than decorative and it does not date the way a heavily detailed fixture will.
Two sizes cover very different jobs: the small at 35.5cm suits a bedside, a hallway or a run of three above a narrow island, and the large at 60.3cm is a single statement over a dining table. Both hang up to 365.8cm with a minimum drop of 39.4cm, take one E26 bulb up to 5W, and work with a dimmer and a dimmable bulb. Dry indoor locations only; hardwired installation by a licensed electrician.
